Why do you need my postcode?

We ask this so that we can work out the average temperatures in your area.

Help me choose my property type

If you don't see your property type listed, select the option closest to it. For example, if you live on the ground floor of a Victorian terraced home, select ‘Ground floor flat’.

Telling us about the type of property you live in helps us work out the heat loss of your home through the walls, floors and roofs.

Help me choose my property's age

The age of your home gives us an idea of the construction methods and building materials used. You can find the year that your property was built on your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) report, if you have one.

If you don't have an EPC, you could find the details on your house deeds. If you own your home, your survey or home report may tell you the age of the building.
